Lovells GVM Upgrade
The Lovells GVM Upgrade increases the vehicle's maximum allowable GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) to 3700kg or 4000kg.
Lovells SSM Approval VTA-061527 for the Ford Ranger GVM Upgrade includes the V6 and 2.0ltr Bi-Turbo 4WD and 2WD.
GCM REVISION is only available for the 3.0 litre V6 Engine.
NO GCM REVISION is available for the 2.0 litre Bi-turbo.
When fitting a Lovells 3700kg GVM Upgrade to these vehicles, the vehicle must have a minimum Tyre Load Index of 110 and a Minimum Speed Rating of T to remain compliant.
When fitting a Lovells 4000kg GVM Upgrade to these vehicles, the tyres must be upgraded as the factory tyres do not meet the minimum required load index. The vehicle must have a minimum Tyre Load Index of 114 and a Minimum Speed Rating of S to remain compliant.
The vehicle changes category from NA to NB1 due to the GVM Upgrade. Therefore, Category 6 side indicators must be fitted to ensure ADR13/00 has been addressed.

State Compliance GVM Upgrade
Registered vehicles undergoing a GVM upgrade must be presented to an Authorised Inspection Station for modification approval. To proceed, the vehicle must be in roadworthy condition. Our pricing covers the entire process, including the modification application, vehicle inspection, and approval permit.
Note: the Western Australian government has indicated they will allow GCM upgrades post-rego in the future but there is currently no date for this change. Lovells are working closely with the Department of Transport on this approval.
Lovells Upper Control Arms
The Lovells heavy duty replacement upper control arms (UCAs) assist in maintaining proper alignment and suspension geometry. A suspension lift changes the factory angles, which can compromise wheel alignment, suspension travel, and even create premature wear on components. Lovells UCAs are designed with improved geometry to correct these issues, providing increased caster, better clearance for larger tires, and improved articulation for off-road performance.
Airbag Man Air Suspension Helper Kit
The Air Suspension Helper Kit assists by eliminating spring sag when loaded, improving ride comfort, and boosting towing and hauling stability. Adjustable air pressure ensures optimal handling, braking, and ground clearance.

Lovells 4000kg Braked Towing Capacity (BTC) Upgrade
The Lovells Braked Towing Capacity (BTC) Upgrade increases the Ranger's towing capacity from 3500kg to 4000kg, with a maximum Tow Ball Weight (TBW) of 400kg.

Lovells SSM Approval VTA-061527 for BTC Upgrade only covers the 3.0L V6 models. 2.0L Bi-Turbo cannot have a BTC Upgrade

The Lovells BTC Upgrade is only compliant when used in conjunction with the Lovells 3700kg GVM Upgrade or 4000kg GVM Upgrade, and utilising only the included BTC kit components. This is because all test data, dynamic testing and ADR compliance were achieved using Lovells parts and design parameters.
