Redarc Tow Pro Brake Controller

The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite V3 Electric Brake Controller is a premium, Australian-designed and manufactured brake controller engineered for smooth and safe towing across diverse terrains. It features dual-mode operation—automatic proportional mode for highway driving and user-controlled mode for off-road conditions. The unit supports both electric and electric/hydraulic trailer brakes, is compatible with 12V and 24V systems, and includes Active Calibration for seamless setup without requiring a trailer to be connected. Its discreet installation behind the dashboard maintains a factory look, with only a compact control knob visible. An OE style switch housing is used where available for a factory finish.

Clearview Towing Mirrors

Clearview Accessories, an Australian-owned company established in 2006, is renowned for its high-quality towing mirrors designed specifically for 4WDs. Their innovative mirrors are built to endure the toughest conditions, ensuring safety and reliability on every adventure. Clearview remains a leader in the market, focusing on advanced technology, unique designs, and exceptional quality.

Next-Gen Towing Mirrors

The Clearview Next-Gen towing mirrors are suitable for all towing applications. They feature a large, flat, 1:1 top mirror which gives a narrower field of view, reflecting true distance for reversing. The convex bottom mirror provides a wider field of view to minimise blind spots while driving.

Compact Towing Mirrors

The Clearview Compact Towing Mirrors are designed to be a sleek, OEM-style mirror with enhanced towing visibility. These mirrors feature a large convex single mirror that offers a wide field of view, effectively reducing blind spots. They extend up to 180mm, providing three distinct towing positions, and retract to a factory-like profile when not in use.

Trailer wiring

A standard 7 pin trailer socket is all that is required for basic towing. This accommodates all your standard trailer lights (brake, tail, indicators) as well as the electric brake controller wiring. However, it is common for caravans to be set up with a 12 pin plug, which houses extra wiring for the caravan, including fridge power, ignition trigger wire, or brake away system. A 12 pin socket is not suitable for high current items such as battery chargers, for this we recommend using Anderson plugs.

12 pin wiring configuration can vary greatly between caravans and we can accommodate most requirements. As a starting point we recommend the following configuration.

  • Pins 1-7: Standard industry configuration, no variance
  • Pin 8: Ignition isolated power supply (for fridge or other accessories)
  • Pin 9: Ignition isolated signal wire (for fridge switch or other ignition signal requirement)
  • Pin 10: Earth
  • Pin 11: Blank
  • Pin 12: Ignition isolated power supply (for ignition signal or low current draw accessories)

Anderson Plugs

For higher current draw items, such as trailer mounted DC chargers, an Anderson Plug is required. Anderson plugs offer a more secure and higher current capacity than a 12 pin plug can accommodate.

Our standard grey Anderson plug provides an ignition isolated power supply rated to 50 amps, suitable for a charge feed to caravan batteries, or some DC chargers. This also includes an under bonnet mounting bracket for electrical components, and a vehicle specific tow bar bracket for mounting one or more Anderson plugs.

A second Anderson plug is sometimes required for a caravan’s Electronic Stability Control (ESC). For this we install a red Anderson plug which provides an ignition isolated power supply rated to 30A.
