This 4200kg GVM upgrade with Lovells Platinum Series remote reservoir adjustable shock absorbers is suited to high constant load vehicles requiring improved control in demanding conditions. It’s designed for setups that see extended off road use or corrugated roads, where heat management and damping consistency are critical.

GVM: Increased from 3300kg to 4200kg
GCM: Increased from 6800kg to 6800kg
Front Axle Capacity: Increased from 1460kg to 1650kg
Rear Axle Capacity: Increased from 2300kg to 2550kg
Special Conditions
Indicators
This vehicle requires Category 6 indicators due to a change from passenger to commercial classification. These are installed on the front guards as part of the upgrade.
Wheels
Pre-registration upgrades must be completed with factory wheels fitted.
Factory wheels meet the required specifications for this GVM upgrade.
Aftermarket wheels are permitted post-registration, provided they have a minimum load rating of 1275kg and a wheel offset no more than ±25mm from factory.
Tyres
The factory fitted tyres do not meet the minimum requirements for this GVM upgrade. Tyres with a minimum load rating of 117 and a minimum speed rating of M must be fitted.

Compliance
For registered vehicles, the upgrade must be certified by an Authorised Inspection Station. The vehicle must be in roadworthy condition and presented for inspection following installation. Our pricing covers the full process, including the modification application, inspection, and final approval permit.
Note: GCM increase is NOT available post registration for this vehicle. The Western Australian Government has indicated that post registration GCM upgrade for this vehicle may be approved in future. However, no implementation date has been confirmed. Lovells continues to work closely with the Department of Transport to progress this approval.
General Usage
This upgrade is designed for vehicles carrying increased constant loads. Ride quality may be firmer when unladen. The GVM upgrade kit must be installed by Ultimate 4WD, an approved Lovells GVM certifier, to ensure full compliance and a legally recognised upgrade.
