These vehicles change category from NA to NB1 due to the 3510kg/3670kg GVM Upgrade. Therefore, Category 6 side indicators must be fitted to ensure ADR13/00 has been addressed.
State Compliance GVM Upgrade
Registered vehicles undergoing a GVM upgrade must be presented to an Authorised Inspection Station for modification approval. To proceed, the vehicle must be in roadworthy condition. Our pricing covers the entire process, including the modification application, vehicle inspection, and approval permit.
Note: the Western Australian government has indicated they will allow GCM upgrades post-rego in the future but there is currently no date for this change. Lovells are working closely with the Department of Transport on this approval.
